I am writing this article to document my personal experience with Adsterra as a publisher and to warn other publishers to carefully consider the risks before sending traffic to the platform.

I had two Adsterra publisher accounts. The first account had approximately $300 USD in unpaid earnings, while the second had approximately $75 USD. In total, I am owed approximately $375 USD.

According to my traffic analysis, around 94% of my traffic was real traffic. I also used traffic-quality and filtering services, including Adscore, to monitor and filter my traffic.

What happened

Before sending traffic, I contacted Adsterra support through their chat/support team.

I specifically asked whether I could send traffic obtained through traffic networks such as RichAds, PopAds, PopCash and Adcash, provided that the traffic was genuine and properly filtered.

The support team told me that this type of traffic was acceptable as long as the traffic was real between 85% 90% and complied with their requirements.

Based on that information, I invested money into acquiring traffic and sent traffic to my Adsterra campaigns.

I did not simply send traffic blindly. I used traffic-quality filtering and monitoring, including Adscore, because I wanted to make sure the traffic was legitimate and to reduce fraudulent or low-quality traffic.

Then both accounts were blocked

After I had generated earnings, Adsterra permanently blocked both of my accounts.

The balances were approximately:

  • Account 1: $300 USD
  • Account 2: $75 USD
  • Total: approximately $375 USD
My main problem is not only the account suspension. The biggest problem is that I have been unable to get a clear explanation or a meaningful resolution regarding my unpaid earnings.

I contacted support and tried to communicate with the team, but I did not receive a satisfactory answer about the specific traffic that supposedly violated their rules or why the earnings should not be paid.

I asked about the traffic sources before using them

This is an important part of my experience.

I did not hide the fact that I intended to use traffic from other advertising networks. I asked Adsterra support in advance whether I could use traffic from networks such as RichAds, PopAds, PopCash and Adcash if the traffic was genuine.

I understood from the support response that this was acceptable provided the traffic was real and met Adsterra's requirements.

That is why I proceeded.

If a traffic source is not permitted, publishers should be told clearly before they spend money buying traffic. In my case, I relied on the information provided by the support team.

My traffic was filtered

I also want to make clear that I took steps to monitor traffic quality.

I used filtering and traffic-quality services, including Adscore, and according to my analysis approximately 94% of the traffic was real.
I am willing to provide evidence showing my traffic sources, filtering results, analytics and other relevant information.

If Adsterra believes that some traffic was invalid, I would like them to identify the specific traffic, dates, sources or violations involved so that I can understand what happened.

Instead, my accounts were permanently blocked and I was left without a satisfactory explanation concerning the approximately $375 balance.

Yea, ad networks love to take your money then ban after payout threshold, happened everywhere, never send bought traffic unless you’re ok losing it.

how much do you spend on those networks where you bought traffic from cuz I think those networks are the worse
