Hi everyone,

I want to use Google Analytics to check how my blog is performing, but there are so many things to look at, lol.

Which things should I focus first to know if my blog is doing well? Should I look at visitors, traffic sources, or something else?

love to hear your suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Traffic volume and traffic sources are usually the most important metrics to check in Google Analytics.

you can just go to your reports snapshot and check the clicks, and the country you are getting the leads from

Yes, however, I would look at engagement and conversion rates in order to determine whether that traffic is truly beneficial. The high numbers mean nothing when visitors do not do anything.

I would check visitors and where they come from first. Getting visitors is good, but it’s better if they actually read the blog too lol.

organic traffic channels and top landing pages are the best metrics to start with.

honestly I find the landing pages report really helpful for seeing what people actually read on my blog.

Start with traffic sources, landing pages, and engagement rate. See which articles bring visitors and whether people actually interact with them. Once you have that baseline, track conversions like newsletter signups or affiliate clicks.

I'd say check traffic sources and top pages first. You'll quickly see where people are coming from and which posts are actually getting attention. no need to worry about every metric at the start.

i think that u should be comparing ur top-performing posts to those that get hardly any visitors at all. u can see where ur traffic is coming from nd whether there is any kind of browsing after the initial visit. it will be easier to tell which ones need more focus after severral weeks.

Daily traffic, the number of real-time visitors, and your main traffic sources are all important metrics. I think the most important thing is how many visitors come from organic search.

first i would look at the landing page report nd identify the posts that are attracting visitors.then compare the traffic sources to determine where the vissitors are coming from.it is much easier to detect what requires more focus that way than just looking at the number of visitors.

Focus on organic traffic and its source and also engagement first of all because growth depends upon engagement and traffic. Do daily analysis how many people visit your blog. Find the ways how visitors found your site and observe which pages get the most views and reach, also observe the google search console to see what type of keywords leads the people to your blog. In the beginning don't worry about the every metric just track your growth regularly observe the improvements and mistakes and try to make more better your blog.

I’d start with organic traffic traffic sources and top performing pages These metrics help you understand where visitors come from and which articles attract the most attention

Google Analytics is more accurate than Search Console for tracking visitors, and it also shows real time data like how many people are on your website in the last 30 minutes you can track your website visitors and see whats happening on your site

i would first check where your visitors are coming from and which posts they actually reading the most that should give you a good starting point.

Yes visitors and traffic sources are the first you need to look at. Also measuring engagement on your pages is a good metric as well.

Comparing these metrics month over month helps you spot what’s working and what needs improvement.
