im trying to drive traffic to my store. are you guys seeing better click-through rates from short video pins or classic vertical image pins lately? would appreciate any simple insights on what to focus on.

I’d try out both and not just commit to video pins. Video is definitely an attention grabber, but vertical photos can serve their purpose effectively when it comes to click-through Measure outbound clicks and conversions, and not just pin saves or impressions, to get the real picture of the results.

video pins might grab more attention, but a clear image can work well too. I’d try both nd see which one actually brings more clicks

actually, the number of views does not necessarilly lead to increased website traffic. a person may view a video pin nd continue scrolling down without going any further. an image pin can be equally effective when it grabs the attention of visitors nd makes them click the site. it all depends on the niche.

For a store run an ID test with pins where the product solves a specific problem compared to clean product images saves look gud but clicks make the money lol

Both formats can work well, but it depends on the niche and audience. I’d test video pins and standard image pins with similar topics and compare outbound clicks to see which brings more website traffic.

I've seen mixed results; video pins grab attention and stay in feeds longer, but some stores still get better outbound CTR from clean images pins. Its depends on the product. I ran both and let the data decide instead of picking one 4ever

recently, images are doing a great job in keeping audience's attention tracted on the matter

IMO video pins are better to grab your audience's eyeballs/attention.

I’d test both. Video pins are good for showing a product in action, while static pins can communicate the offer quickly. Compare outbound clicks and sales, not just saves or views.

If you place them side by side, video pins perform better than pictures because it keeps people more engaged. In spite the goodness of video pins, they are limited in certain contexts. I would say you vary them alternatively and not depend totally on one

I’d test both. Video pins are great for showing a product in action, while static images can communicate the offer quickly. Compare outbound clicks and actual sales over a few weeks before deciding where to focus.

i think it is more about the target audience than about the type of pin. someone who wants some ideas for products would probabbly click on the image directly whereas others may want to see the product in use before clicking on it. it probably depends a lot on the niche, too.

if it is a store then i would do video ads for demonstrating the product and image pins when people are already doing comparison shopping; want to know which one actually drives add to carts not just clicks

I’d test both bruh video pins can grab attention, but clean vertical images with a clear product hook can get clicks too. Track outbound CTR and double down on what sends store visits.
Yeah, I’d do both tests using the same product and target market so that the comparison is more accurate. Savings and views are nice, but clicks outside and people actually visiting the stores will tell you what works.

TBH, I would test both with the same product initially, because there are some products which are attractive in videos while some others just need pictures to get clicks.
Saving money is gud but I would monitor the number of outbound click nd add to cart to know what’s really bringing in the customers
