Hey everyone,
Wanted to see what alternative methods you guys are using to get fake 1-star reviews removed from Google Business Profiles lately.

I’d try escalating through Google Business Profile support with clear evidence of policy violations. Document suspicious review patterns and appeal with specific details rather than repeatedly flagging them.

File an appeal on GMB and provide them with evidence.
I'm curious myself to see who's doing what.

If flagging doesn't work, I'd document why the reviews appear fake and follow up through Google's official support process. It's also worth checking whether they violate a specific review policy rather than simply disagreeing with the feedback. Keeping genuine customer reviews coming in naturally can help maintain a balanced profile while the issue is being reviewed.

if flagging didn't work, i'd check the review status in google's reviews management tool before doing anything else. if google marked it as no policy violation, there's a one-time appeal option. i'd use that to explain exactly which policy the review breaks instead of just saying it's fake. screenshots, repeated wording or evidence of coordinated reviews could help support the case. just keep in mind that a suspicious review isn't automatically removable.

What i will measure first wont be the number of members but rather how many of them post without having to be prompted that way you know whether the group is genuine or not.

reply to each one calmly and say you have no record of them as a customer. even if google never removes it, people reading the reviews see you handled it, and that counts for more than the star

If flagging does not work, try contacting google business profile support and explain why the reviews violate their policies. keep screenshots and any proof that the reviews are fake. you can also use google's review management tool to check the appeal status. avoid paying services that promise guaranteed removal, as only reviews that violate Google's policies can be removed.

tbh, just saying that the review is fake does not really do anything for Google, it needs something more tangible to back it up.
Have they rejected your appeal as well, or have you only reported the reviews till now?

I guess that what I will do first is look at their past reviews and then take a few screen shots too. In some cases, there could be multiple review which might seem to be suspicious and those reviews are posted at the same time. It could also happen that google review are very inconsistent regarding such reviews.

at other times, reporting the review alone just does not appear to do the trick.it would be wise to see whether there is anything in the reviews which indicate that they are fake nd save proof of the same before reacching out to support. wondering whether anyone has found a way that works recently!

That is right; providing concrete evidence and proving the policy violation can be more useful than accusing someone of submitting a false review. Continue with submitting authentic reviews organically and don’t engage in anything suspicious until you get google’s response.

one strategy that i would implement is to respond calmly to the reviews while trying to have them removed. if google decides not to remove the reviews from the site then everyone will be able to see how the company deals with complaints.the difficult thing about this problem is to prove that a review is not legittimate when the reviewer does not provide much information.
