Tesla and Meta stock earnings got released yesterday, and their stock market prices went up initially..do you hokd any?

My girlfriend holds Meta and TSLA Rtokens. When the earnings were announced, she knew the price would follow an uptrend, so she used her Rtokens as collateral to borrow some USDT, placed a long position on Meta, and when the price went up +5% to around $748, she TP. If she were holding the stock on Robinhood or Moomoo, I don't think that would have been possible, or would it? Have no idea.

Though there are risks involved, this option for tokenized stocks is far more flexible, in my opinion, than that of traditional stocks. How do you see this feature?

Honestly, turning your holdings into collateral to catch a quick move is pretty clever, but feels kinda risky in this market lol

I don’t see an upside to tokenized stocks, it’s not like buying them from a brokerage is difficult with like a dozen brokers available for pretty much any GEO, perhaps it’s arguable that 24/7 trading is an upside.

Everything comes with a risk so you gat to know what you're doing imo, but this Bitget Rtoken collateral thingy is pretty cool imo. just be strategic and you should be good.

24/7 could be an upside..what about getting dividends too like traditional broker? Did you consider that?.

Well that’s the point I’m making, if it acts entirely like a regular stock, why not just buy the stock itself through a brokerage? owning decentralized stocks doesn’t really make much sense to me considering it’s pegged by centralized stocks anyway.

The flexibility is definitely interesting, especially being able to use tokenized stocks as collateral. But I'm curious about one thing: how do the rights and protections compare with holding actual shares through a traditional broker?

If your goal is to hold stocks for the long term, build wealth, and benefit from a company’s growth, I’d lean toward traditional stockbrokers rather than tokenized stocks.

To borrow against tokenized stocks, lock them in the Binance margin pool and request a stablecoin loan, then open a long on the same asset; Tip: keep your loan to value under 50 to avoid liquidation

Yah Rtoken acts like a regular stocks but with more flexibility and perpks

tokenized stocks give more flexibility for borrowing and leverage, but the liquidation risk is no joke. Traditional brokers offer margin too, so I’d compare fees, collateral rules and protections before choosing.
