I'm trying to decide whether to go with a cohesive Pinterest style or try totally different designs for different topics. What has worked best for you?

Consistency helps people recognize your content, testing different designs shows what actually gets clicks

Don't be afraid to experiment. Pinterest recommends refreshing creative based on engagement rather than following one permanent formula.

I think a consistent style helps people recognize your pins more easily. I would keep the overall look consistent while changing the design slightly depending on the topic.

The design should match the topic first a food pin and a business pin may need different visuals even if they are on the same account.

i would continue with the branding but allow the designs some room to breath. since pinterest users scroll through at a high speed, it is important that the visuals of a brand are recognizable enough for the user to be able to distinguish them, however, making every single pin identical does not help the curiossity factor.

a consistent style helps people recognize your brand, but you can still test different layouts, colors, and hooks across topics. keep the overall branding similar while letting the designs vary enough to see what gets clicks.

A cohesive overall style usually works best for brand recognition, with small design variations to distinguish each topic.

but i would opt for consistency without making the pins look identical. consistency in design is important for building ur brand, but it may be helpful to try out various designs as well. if u have one design that keeps being saved or clicked, then it is a surefire thing.

i believe that consistency helps associate pins with one creator. however, it should not be the law that cannot be broken. some themes are simply more appropriate in bright colors or even have another design layout.imo all that matters is maintaining consisttent branding.

I noticed that when I posted about 30 pins a week using the same palette in Canva, my repins went up. Stick to a consistent style for each board and only tweak the image for topic specifics, it keeps your brand recognizable.

Maintaining a consistent style across all Pinterest posts offers numerous benefits. It helps build a strong brand identity, establishes professionalism and credibility, and attracts the right target audience.
