Hey guys,

I want to get traffic to my blog and would like to know which sources are best. I am new to blogs so, currently my all focus on content quality.

Should I focus on Google SEO, Pinterest, Reddit, or social media? Which ones have worked best for you?

Would love to hear your suggestions. Thanks!

If you're new to blogging then I'd say try Pinterest first (particularly if you're in a visual niche such as home improvement, DIY or lifestyle).

Focus on search intent, low competition keywords and actual useful content. Pinterest can be a good way to bring in traffic.. Reddit and the various social platforms are all worth looking at but do it organically rather than just dropping links.

Try to focus on quality content and engaged the relevant audience 2nd build relevant backlinks for improve your traffic and SEO.

I think SEO is good for long-term blog traffic, but Pinterest can help too. For example, if you write about home decor, you could share your blog posts on Pinterest to bring more visitors. I'd try a couple of sources and see what works best for my niche.

yes, pinterest will drive traffic way faster in those visual niches of home décor, recipes, and diy. i would monitor the pins that drive traffic and clicks rather than going for the number of impressions alone.

Pinterest is the best since it can drive traffic to your blog for YEARS.

I’d prioritize SEO for long-term traffic while using Pinterest or relevant communities to get early visitors. The best mix depends on your niche, so test a couple of sources and track which brings engaged readers.

I’d focus on Google SEO first and use Pinterest as a second traffic source. SEO takes time, so sharing useful content on social media can help bring visitors while u wait.

For me, it depends on your blog niche. SEO is a good long term option, while Pinterest can work really well for visual niches like food, travel and lifestyle. I'd test both and see where the visitors actually come from.

I’d focus on SEO for long-term traffic and use Pinterest or social media to get visitors quicker, while Reddit can help too if you share genuinely useful stuff and don’t spam

I used Google SEO when i first started blogging then used reddit to boost the traffic. Since you are new to blogging Google SEO would be what i recommend. Keep focusing more on the content, title, linking etc. as you did. Use the Search Console to see which searches bring clicks. After that depending on your niche, if you already have audience on any of other channels you can start from one of them to see how it works.

When you write distinct content adding your own "voice" instead of generic seo content, then google ai will not much copy you, you will get goord rankings in bing and google (and get google sitelinks in google from your flattest blog structure with 2-3 pages, not categories) . But most people writing generic seo content, listicles, have website with blog mishmash content, deep siloing and all that crap. Wonder why they get copied from ai overview without get any clicks to their site....

With generic seo content, it will not help you much in seo ranking, big G then will reddit overrank your site/blog. And reddit traffic is useless to monetize it.

Start with SEO as your long-term foundation, then use one social channel that fits your niche. Reddit can bring targeted visitors if you contribute genuinely, while Pinterest works well for visual topics. Track conversions, not just traffic.

SEO should be my primary strategy when i share content on Pinterest and other social media sites seo will generate organic traffic for me in the long run but social media may help me acquire my initial visitors another platform that will suit me is Reddit provided that i actively participate in relevant conversations and not just post links.
