Keep one channel if the videos are related, otherwise separate channels will work better.

I think you should separate them into two distinct channels. having a consistent theme will make a channel appear more professional.

separate them for sure. if you mix random videos with short films your audience will get confused and stop watching, which completely kills your watch time metrics. better to keep the main channel clean and put the random stuff on a secondary channel

Definitely keep short films on a dedicated channel so you don't mess up your subscriber base and audience retention then put random vlogs or extra content on a separate channel.

In my experience, each channel should focus on a single, consistent topic. Mixing unrelated content can dilute your channel’s identity and make it harder to retain a loyal audience.
