AI Apps and browsers, people using brave search which doesn't give a shit about commercial incentives, people using google and bing not even going past AI overviews or going straight to gemini. Shopping platforms google, amazon etc meaning no one even needs serps anymore it seems to me.

But what are you views?

SEO is an Art more than a skill. And both skill and art can't die.
All we need is to cope with the environment and improvise things around us.
AI is brain of several human if you can defeat them you may survive.
Cost will become COST.

I don't mean to be antagonising. In fact I came here looking for link sellers primarily. But some recent reports I read just got me wondering, cause it asked me when's the last time browser the search pages on Google and/or Bing (which I don't even use) and I can't even remember myself.

Getting clicks is becoming harder when people can find what they need without visiting a website, so SEO will need to focus more on giving people a reason to click.

What niche are you in where Brave search is actually taking a noticeable chunk of traffic, because outside of tech and crypto crowds normal users barely know it exists.
