I’ve enabled monetization and included quite a few affiliate links in my viral videos, but no one is actually clicking on them.

I regularly check the monetization section, but since I’m new to this and a complete beginner, I don’t really understand it.

A fan page with 2k followers doesn’t seem to meet the requirements for monetization yet. I think you should create more content, especially Reels, to attract more followers and help your page qualify for Facebook monetization.

With 2k followers I would start developing the page to have more engagement as the monetization of the page will depend on its eligibility I would also look into other options, such as affiliate marketing and consider using them while working on the development of the Facebook page
 
Starting off with 2k followers is a modest beginning. I think the simplest approach is for you to include affiliate links.
 
In my opinion, you should still consistently post valuable content, engage regularly, then place affiliate links in the comments section to direct traffic
 
2k fl still won't make money from fb, you should try adding affiliate links or Livestreaming.
