So what's going on with OddBytes volume?

They've lost nearly all of their Edge browser traffic since the beginning of September. Chrome and Firefox seem steady, although Firefox had a slight drop in volume and CR%.

Support told me it doesn't have to do with Google's Manifest v2 changes.

Anyone go the scoop? What's going on?

could be a tracking or traffic source issue
if the drop started suddenly compare edge referral data, extensions, and conversion tagging

also, respectfully, what a useless answer from a new account tryna run up their post count

Does anyone have an update on this? I've had an account with Oddbytes for over 10 years and what has happened to their traffic from my end is a catastrophic. Volume and quality down. Everyone is bidding to get the remaining traffic, driving costs to unsustainable levels. They have given no answer to questions and provide cookie cutter - "working on it" replies.

I have no new info. No one is talking. I tried to see what i could find with AI, and the only plausible thing is that Microsoft/Edge is sunsetting Manifest V2 extensions, which could've affected adware traffic.

When's the last time you asked their support about this?

First time I asked they said -

"We’ve recently experienced an impact to our user base. While this is unfortunate, our team is fully focused on continuing to grow and strengthen the available inventory heading into Q4."-

asked again a few weeks ago - they didn't reply.

Yea i got a similar response saying they lost users, but are working on getting more for q4. Well, we're about a month into q4 now. I'd say a tiny fraction of Edge volume has been recovered based on my own stats. Still a loooooooong way to go. CR overall has been unstable. Every 'good' day is followed by about 2-3 sh!t days.

Wish I could add to this - my experience is the same. Will let you know if I hear/ learn anything new, or have any likely theories.
