Today I got hit with the nuke.

My Meta ad account of 10+ years — gone.
No warning, no “confirm identity,” just permanently restricted from advertising.

For context:

  • I run ads for my own products (CBD, legal fungi/novelty wellness, etc.)
  • Nothing illegal — just counterculture/greyhat adjacent (the usual “policy-adjacent” space many of us live in)
  • I’ve lost Business Managers before… but never the actual ad account tied to my personal profile
This one hurts because the ad history, pixel seasoning, spend, everything = gone.

I was consistently doing $2,000/day in rev, profitably. Meta was my main engine.

What I’m Trying to Understand About META AGENCY ACCOUNTS

I’m not looking for people to sell me accounts in this thread.

I’m looking for actual media buyers or people who’ve used agency accounts long-term to scale greyhat-ish offers.

My questions:

  1. How durable are agency accounts really?
Are they just BMs with a fancy label, or do they actually get a different tier of protection?
  2. How long do they stay alive when pushing “borderline-but-legal” offers?
Be realistic — are we talking weeks? months? can they last?
  3. Do agency accounts actually warm up pixels faster?
When you move the pixel + data + domain, can they gain steam fast enough to profitably scale again?
  4. Is the strategy basically:
    • Run until it dies
    • Cashflow
    • Rebuy another
      — OR —
Is there a smarter way to structure things so I’m not rebuilding every time?
  5. Is it worth putting the effort in to build assets back up again, or are agency accounts just temporary band-aids?

What I Need Is CLARITY:

Not the salesman pitch, not the “$2k for account + $500/mo” DMs.

I want data from people who:

  • Actually run spend on agency accounts
  • Push borderline verticals
  • And understand how to keep accounts breathing
Not:

“Bro, just rotate pages and proxies and clean your creative.”
I’m past the basics. I need the real playbook.

TL;DR

⚡ Lost my 10-year Meta ad account today
⚡ Ran greyhat/counterculture offers (CBD, legal fungi, etc.)
⚡ $2k/day spend → revenue machine → gone in 24 hours
⚡ Need advice from media buyers who actually use agency accounts, not vendors

Are agency accounts worth it? Can they scale fast enough? How long do they live?

Any guidance or war stories appreciated.

Thanks in advance to anyone who drops real info and not just a Telegram handle.

  1. How durable are agency accounts really?
Yes, those BM2500 have a different tier of protection as they're more reliable, lesser rejected ads or to get restrictions, can scale really well especially those Gold ones.

  2. How long do they stay alive when pushing “borderline-but-legal” offers?
Months, wat more longer but this depends on Meta.

  3. Do agency accounts actually warm up pixels faster?
    Absolutely

Thank you for the feedback here. May be time to try and go this route. I just moved over to a backup account, immediately started spending $350 and hit $1200 first day and $1400 days since.

Amazing. Scale slowly and it should be stable.

Our portfolio is spending 9 figures per month. You should have several set ups and back ups ready to go. Your issue was you relied on one setup.

What offer are you running?

What offer are you running?
All niches. We are the top agency accounts as well, so we not only run ads but also work with other affiliates so they can scale.

Do you have a verified listing here in the Marketplace?

There is no special consideration for the agency meta ad accounts. Most of the agency accounts are just standard Meta ad accounts managed through an agency BM.

So policy enforcement is same for all the campaigns.

For CBD and pharma offers, we need to check the restriction is tied to the ad account, business, asset performance profile, or the underlying offer.

Moving the same restricted offer to another account can trigger again restrictions.

So focus on resolving the original restriction first and then start another account.

Use tools like AdsSpy, AdVauult to get what the competitors have been currently running in the same niche and geo. You can also get your history using these tools, if needed. And was your personal advertising access permanently restricted, or the ad account alone? This will give us idea on how we can move forward.
