Hi everyone, I would like to learn from your experience. What has worked well for you when choosing a hosting service? Have you faced any problems and how did you deal with them? I would be happy to hear your thoughts and advice.

In my experience, when choosing a hosting service, you should prioritize page loading speed, stability, security, technical support, and reasonable pricing. Common issues include slow website loading, server downtime, or slow response times from support teams. I recommend selecting a reputable provider, checking genuine user reviews, and performing regular data backups to minimize risks.

I have found interest-based targeting useful, but testing different audiences is important. Sometimes a broad audience works better than expected, so I would test both and compare the results.

wide targeting has surprised me more than stacking interests at times, however, my biggest problem is when cheap clicks dont convert to customers, hence I judge it on conversion rates not click-through rates

targeting on facebook becomes tricky where cheap clicks do not result in leads i will check out those that converts before considering interests again

I prioritize uptime, customer service response times, and backup solutions. Also, keep an eye on renewal pricing, and always maintain your own independent backups to avoid complications should you ever decide to switch providers.

Are you asking about Facebook or hosting?

Your title asks about Facebook targeting but the text asks about hosting, so a few people answered different questions. Clarify which one you want and you will get better advice. On the targeting side, I agree with what gimabor said about judging by conversions, not clicks. A simple way to test it: run broad and one interest audience side by side with the same budget and the same ad, let both run for several days before deciding, and compare cost per lead or sale. Cheap clicks that never convert are the usual trap. Exclude your existing customers and recent visitors so you are not paying to reach people who already know you.

I’d check if backups are included and whether you can restore them yourself without opening a support ticket. Also, test their support before committing because when your site goes down during a traffic spike, slow replies can cost you visitors and sales.

Targeting people based on their interests can be a good starting point. The main challenge is finding the right people without spending too much. Testing a few different audiences can help you see which one works best.
