I am re-uploading edited clips but getting stuck at 200 views. Will adding text/audio inside the native Instagram editor trigger the algorithm?

I don’t think editing inside Instagram alone will boost reach, the hook, watch time, and whether the content feels original matter more.

nah adding text in the ig editor isn't some secret algorithm hack lol
if you're reuploading viral clips, insta might still recognize the original footage

try changing the actual content

I don’t think simply editing existing content will be very effective compared to the original video. You can certainly draw inspiration from it, but make sure to add your own unique twist, that’s what will attract more viewers.

the flat 200 is the part id look at first. a content problem doesnt give you one flat number, you get spread, some reels at 60 some at 900. if your last 10 are all sitting in the same 180-250 band thats the account being held back, not the edit, and no text overlay fixes that. post stuff thats actually yours for a couple weeks and see if the numbers start moving at all

Yes, using Instagram’s built in editor to add text or audio has a positive impact on the algorithm and helps increase your reach. When you add text within the app, Instagram’s AI can collect metadata, which improves videos SEO and helps ensure your content reaches the right audience. Similarly, adding trending music from the built in library allows your video to appear on the specific audio page, further increasing its discoverability. Furthermore, if you edit your video in a third party app and a watermark or logo remains, Instagram may immediately reduce your view count, using the built in editor avoids this issue. Therefore, performing the core video editing including adding text hooks and music directly within the Instagram app works to your advantage with the algorithm.

I’m new to this, but I was also wondering if editing inside the IG app makes any difference. Maybe it’s worth trying with different audios and text to see what works. Has anyone here tried it and noticed any change in views?

it is not necessary that the Instagram native editor will automatically lead to an increase in reach in this regard one needs to be careful about the hook duration and originality of the videos re posted video can fail even because of its fast scrolling

I have used Instagrams Native editor (EDIT) to edit reel without any significant improvement on performance. If you are stuck on reach, it's likely a shadow ban issue which may not improve even when you use the native editor. Sort out the shadow ban or something else to get backk on track
