If I outreach and deal with Premium site like businessinsider in $6000 and i am getting this same site from outside for $40. How is this possible? will there be any difference between the two beacuse a good client will pay more he wont buy this site for $40 can any one explain how there can be such a difference in money?

i am very excited to hear the answer to this
Regards

That huge price gap is worth looking into the cheaper deal might not offer the same placement or guarantees, so check what’s actually included

The price difference can come from outreach costs, content quality, editorial standards, and the seller’s profit margin.

The $40 link is almost certainly a hacked site insertion, a subfolder rental scam, or a fake web 2.0 parasite page that will get wiped in a week, whereas the official $6000 route goes directly through their sponsored content desk with guaranteed indexation and no ban risk.

The difference is in placement legitimacy, editorial approval, link quality, guarantees, and the seller’s profit margin.

The 6,000 price gets you a legitimate, permanent editorial placement on the main domain, while the $40 option is usually a non indexed press release, a subdomain exploit or a temporary hacked account link with zero SEO value.

the 40 one is almost always a page that wont stay indexed mate, press release subdomain or a section google barely crawls. ive bought a couple of those cheap big name placements to test, both dropped out of the index in under 2 months. the 6000 is on the main domain and stays. but honestly for most sites neither is the play, a 40 placement that you put a few hundred automated links under will stay indexed and pass, thats what i do with the cheap ones now and they hold

the price discrepancy could also be due to the individual who negotiates the deal nd the source of the pllacement. while one person may demand an extra fee for direct contact, the other could be reselling a placement and offer it at a lower price. i would verify the placement on the actual site nd whether the link is editorial before making any comparison.

It doesn't always work, but it does often enough, to justify only spending $40 (pllus a few bucks for a cheap tiered linking and GSA blast) to keep a page indexed. A high traffic site can be worth the link for referral traffic, even if it's not great for SEO. On the other end, a different way to snag the great whale editorial placement at no cost would be to write a deeply well researched relevant article, and shop it to journalists who are looking for that type of content. Backlinko did a guide to "reverse outreach" of this kind, you could review the steps involved to see if you could get it published using the method.

tbh, I think I will check out the page itself first before relying on just the website address which the seller told me.\
there could be good prices for placements on poor pages or even non-indexed page , but the price for editorial link could go high.
Did you check where that $40 link placement will be placed?

maybe the $6k deal includes content creation and audience exposure, while the $40 offer is just a backlink.

Sometimes the low cost might simply be another person who has sold uh access or used a different approach. i could always asks what the exact page number was first.
