What is the best way to promote my app/website?

For this marketing campaign, I would work on SEO for the website, ASO for both the Apple and Android applications, and demo videos on social media.

Use them in conjunction with each other so that each channel drives traffic to other channels as well.

Begin with a single target market and see what channel performs best.

Yeah, focusing on one core product is way easier than dividing attention amongst three different tools. Just let the free version attract users organically and then upsell the application to them.
 
I also want to talk about another method that according to some people, isn't the best because it could be risky. I'm talking about SEO services that we can even see here on BHW. If you ask ChatGPT or any other IA, it wil say that it could harm your organic progress. Do these SEO services really work? I'm sure there are bad and good ones, but it's something I'm also considering.

Best way to promote your app/website 1st is social media platform and ads.
 
Drive traffic using your website via SEO and short form videos,then use the web interface to funnel users directly to your iOS and upcoming Android apps.
 
I'd focus on promoting the tool itself rather than treating the app and website as separate projects. Short videos showing what it actually does could be a good starting point.

Also, target searches for the specific problem your tool solves. That way you can bring traffic to the website and let people choose whether to use it there or download the app.
 
You could try scoping out a couple mid size influencers on YT or other socials & pay for an app review for example. Reddit should also be a viable option depending on your specific niche.
 
If you have a budget, you can run paid ads to drive app downloads. If you don’t want to spend money, you should promote your app by posting in relevant Facebook groups or subreddits.
 
start with the website, a few posts around what the tool solves. share it in music production communities as a real contribution, not a drop. then optimize the app store listings with good keywords and screenshots

I’d start with SEO and short demo videos. use the website to promote both apps and build traffic across all three platforms.
