Stripe account's region and the withdrawal bank account's region need to be the same?

While searching, I came across the statement that "a Stripe account's region and the withdrawal bank account's region need to be the same." Is this true?
If so, does that mean if I have a U.S. Stripe account, I can only use a Wise account created in the U.S.?

It's not correctly. For Withdrawal you need linking US bank account for withdrawal USD currency, EU Iban for Euro etc. Or use withdrawal to card if you Stripe eligible for Instant withdrawal

On Stripe wallet you can add aditttiomal currency and start saving and convertation currency and after make withdrawal instead of auto withdrawal to primary currency

If you have a US stripe account, you can use a Wise account whose details matches that on your US stripe account.
