yes it will be affecting with deleting the video or changing the niche. Why not keep posting in the same niche and create a new account for another niche?

This can be good and better chance to see which channel grows first with different techniques.

that viral video would continue to attracts the wrong kind of audience for months to come, so it would be wise to tried out that new niche in just a few videos and compare the results.
