Hi everyone, I want to drive traffic to my website using Facebook Groups. However, whenever I post a link, group admins delete it or Facebook blocks my account for spam. What is the safest way to share links in groups organically? Should I put the link in the first comment instead of the post? Thanks!

Are you using a personal profile or a business page to do this? Business pages have certain restrictions to link posting.

Putting the link in the first comment helps avoid automatic post deletion, but Facebook still flags external URLs if clicked rapidly. Have you tried driving group members to a pinned profile post with a domain redirect or custom bridge page instead of posting direct links?

The safest way for u is to actually participate in by answering questions, adding value for other people;
Only drop the link when someone asks, put it in the first comment helps a bit but sometimes still gets removed

some groups have very strict policies with even just one link so Id make sure that I see what kind of posts are accepted on that site and create a couple of useful replies for them

there r communities that are very strict regarding external links such that even moving the links to comments might not make a difference. i believe that it is all about knowing what each community accepts nd ensuring that ur post adds value to the disccussion. when people find the discussion informative, they will visit ur website without ur prompting them through the links.

Tbh don't links in every post, build some trust in the group first. i usally prefer giving a helpful answer and only sharing a link when it actually fits the topic. putting it in the first comment won't always help if the group doesn't allow promo llinks.

Focus on contributing genuinely useful answers first and share links only when they’re relevant and allowed by the group rules. Putting links in comments isn’t a guaranteed workaround. Building trust with the community works better long term than repeatedly dropping links.

The safest approach is to focus on providing value first. Participate in relevant groups, share helpful posts, and only include links when the group rules allow them. Putting links in the first comment isn’t a guaranteed workaround, so avoid repetitive posting and always follow each group’s guidelines.

Some sites dlt links regardless of their position. See which articles have been approved by the site administrators. share some valuable piece of information from that article and post ur link only when asked for more.

Personally, I would focus on useful content instead of adding links to every post. Putting the link in the first comment does not guarantee you will avoid spam filters, so check each group’s rules and only share links when they are genuinely relevant.

Use a trusted BM and a stable ad account to drive website traffic through Meta Ads instead of relying on group links, which can trigger spam restrictions.

The safest approach is to share useful content that aligns with the group’s theme and adheres to the administrator’s rules. Build organic engagement before sharing any links, and avoid repetitive or excessive posting. Placing a link in the first comment does not guarantee that it won’t be flagged as spam. Ideally, you should seek permission from the administrator and only share content once you have been given the go-ahead.

some forums automatically dlt links regard less of where you place them i would see which posts get approved on sch forums and formulate my strategy accordingly rather than testing different placements throughout the day

etting up auto-responder keywords (e.g. asking users to comment "GUIDE") to send the bridge link directly via Messenger works much better than public comments. Have you tested DM automation to bypass group link detection entirely?
