Which types of interactions does the current Facebook algorithm prioritize most? How do video views, watch time, comments, shares, saves and interactions from friends affect post distribution? Please share your insights with me i would be very grateful.

i would focus on shares nd duration of stay, rather than only the likes. sometimes even the most basic post that encourages urr followers to tag their friends can go viral. what are uhh posting reels or just regular upddates?

i'd be careful with anyone claiming there's one signal facebook values most. it depends on who's seeing the post. for reels, i'd watch how long people stay, not just the view count. for regular posts, i'd pay attention to shares and actual conversations in the comments. friend activity can help with discovery too. i'd test a few original posts around one topic and compare non-follower reach, watch time and shares. what niche is your page in?

From my experience running pages and ads, watch time and completion rate trigger the algorithm fastest for video content. For text or image posts, shares and long comment threads matter way more than simple likes. When people actually spend time discussing in your comments, Meta considers it high value and pushes it to non-followers.

Post more engaging content, that's literally the answer

When you run engagement ads for your Facebook page, Facebook automatically boosts its visibility, ensuring it frequently appears in the News Feeds of users within your target audience. This leads to an increase in video views, watch time, comments, shares, and saves for your page's posts.
If you choose to boost engagement for your page or posts manually—without using paid advertising—the process will differ and require more time.

The customer value is the top priorty when you create content for your customer. Currently Fb algorithms focus on factors like customer retention time, saves and share rather than the number of likes or cmt in the past

I post a mix of Reels and Stories,i try out everything possible for the channel.

It depends on your niche, but with current algorithms, the focus is usually on content watch time.

I hear a lot of people talk about "watch time" does this apply to all videos? What’s the ratio like? Or does it come down to the thumbnail?

in my opinion, watch time and completion rate for Reels, to achieve this, the most important thing is still the quality of your content

Watch time, meaningful comments, and shares are key signals. Focus on engaging content and use a trusted BM and stable ad account to scale reach through Meta Ads.

Facebook's current algorithm often prioritizes post viewers based on viewing time and the likelihood of interaction and sharing. I usually pay attention to interactions such as comments, shares, and other activities that align with the meta.

Shares are KING. Also if the users like your videos, it's a very good quality metric.

one other area of focus would be creating content people actually want to engage with nd not just scroll by. some examples of such content include posing simple questions, creatting reels or even posting content they would want to share with their friends. secondly, pay attention to the content that brings in new followers nd not necessarily the ones that generate high reach.

In my view, Facebook tends to prioritize content that keeps users engaged for longer, generates high-quality comments, and earns shares and saves. Interactions from friends also help boost reach. Ultimately, the most important factor is creating content that is useful, engaging, and well-tailored to your target audience.

I’ve noticed that fb currently places a high priority on view counts, people don’t seem to interact by liking or commenting as much as they used to, opting instead to simply watch and share.

Facebook prioritizes content that engages viewers—specifically in terms of watch time, high-quality comments, shares, and saves. Interactions from friends also play a role. Most importantly, content should be useful, compelling, and capable of generating organic engagement.

That’s too vague. Specifically, regarding watch time I’ve seen many people talk about this, but there’s no concrete evidence or actual metrics shown from their own channels :))
