Hi everyone,

I'm having a serious problem with Reddit accounts getting banned during the warm-up phase, and I'm trying to understand what might be causing it.

My setup:

  • Jailbroken iPhone X
  • Crane tweak to manage multiple account containers
  • Mobile proxies, rotating the proxy when switching to another container
My warm-up process:

  • Days 1–2: scrolling through the feed only
  • After day 2: around 1–2 comments per day
  • Daily activity: around 15–30 minutes per account, mostly scrolling
  • I try to warm up the accounts slowly without doing anything unusual.
The problem:

  • Around 50% or more of my accounts get banned during the first week.
  • The accounts that survive often have very low CQS, around Low or Lowest.
  • Some comments also seem to get filtered by certain subreddits without any notification, An example of the subreddit - r/midliinteresting
What's confusing is that some of my friends use a similar setup and warm-up process, but their ban rate is only around 10–15%.

What I've already tried:

I've reinstalled the jailbreak, factory-reset the phone, and switched to mobile proxies in different countries, but the problem persists.

What could be causing this?

Could the issue be related to my iPhone, jailbreak configuration, Crane setup, proxies, or something else entirely?

I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions from people who have experienced something similar. I'm especially interested in understanding why my results are so different from those of people using a similar setup.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Almost all brand new accounts now get their comments filtered by default.

Reddit is also using more advanced fingerprinting (my best guess it's not just device/hardware fingerprinting, but also using AI to track behavior and velocity of subreddits and which subreddits you join or start engaging with).

new accounts get filtered a lot more these days. reddit may also looking at behavior patterns and account activity across subreddits rather than just device fingerprints so a slow warm up alone might not enough.

could be that accounts are getting flagged before you even start commenting.the fact that some replies disappear without notice makes me think subreddit filters and account reputation playing a part too.

iphone accs are flagged way harder now, reddit tightened their detection alot. but real talk if 50% are going down during warmup the issue aint the activity itself, its prob the accs themselves. like are these fresh registered or bought accounts. cuz thats what separates 50% bans from 10%

No, I checked that the accounts weren't banned; it's just that some subreddits have strict rules. They simply require CQS moderation

These accounts weren't purchased. They're new - they were created

Why going to big Subreddit in the warming phase? I wouldn't do that, at least try to warm your account in small Subrreddit in the first week/10 days than you can comment in those big Subreedit

Your issue could be as simple as not using clean IPs/proxies. People tend to overlook the importance of those. Try using a more “premium” provider and make sure to use 4g/mobile IPs.

Honestly, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t just use a PC with a good anti-detect browser that supports multiple profiles and a basic residential proxy. Reddit has been a business for years now, and having just one account is practically useless.

Man, with the advent of ai, every major social media is now really stressfull to setup new accounts. I don't know what do you want to use then for, but if you had a formula before, be like 10x extra cautious nowadays.

Could that really be the reason?

Everything's fine with the IP; I bought a SIM card at my local store and am using it as a proxy

Stop checking your CQS that is why you are getting banned,I don't care about it,your behavior on reddit is what exposing you lol

1-2 day scrolling not enough IMO

Crane separates app data, but doesn't really hide the device itself. Maybe try the web version in an antidetect browser with a fresh browser fingerprint and one of your current proxies, see if anything changes.
I've already tried it; today is the 5th day of the warm-up period, and 3 out of 10 Akkanuts have already been banned. I don't know if that's a lot for the 5th day

Out of a batch of 10 accounts, I only check one for CQS; I check all the accounts only when I think there might actually be a CQS issue, and it turns out I'm right.
