Is the 'Views Jail' still a thing or a setup issue? - How long did it take you to get out of views jail?

Hey!

A quick question to the knowledgeble crowds. Is the views jail (above 200 views, stuck below 500) still a content issue thing? Or is it a setup issue thing? I sometimes feel like no matter the hook I use (using proven virality hooks, slightly reworded etc. stuff I was used to working) I get stuck in the views jail at least from beginning.

Do you think it's still a content issue?
How long (how many videos) did it take you to break of of that jail?
Is TikTok still taking its time to categorize the niche - means new accounts can practically never break out of that jail fast?

From what I’ve seen, it can take anywhere from 10–30 videos before the algorithm really understands your niche. New accounts need consistency before they break out.

nd in some cases, the problem is not the hook itself but rather what follows in those first few seconds afterwards. when people become disintterested right from the start ur reach could get stuck, even if u start off with a great hook. how about trying out a couple of other types of videos?
