I noticed something wrong with one of my PPC campaigns. People are clicking my ads, but the landing page aska them to login before they can see the content. I did not expect this, so some visitors may be leaving without going further.
How can I make sure my ads send people to the correct page?

Check the final URL in your ad and open it in an incognito window to see what visitors get.

Also check redirects, login settings, and whether the page works without an account. Test the full process on mobile too, since that’s where you might be losing clicks.

Fix the destination url in your ad settings right away because sending paid traffic to an authentication wall destroys your quality score and burns budget. Test the url in an incognito tab if it redirects to a login prompt, your CMS is forcing guest sessions to authenticate before serving the page.

If the login is required only on mobile, check whether the mobile version uses a different URL.

this is just the best way to go about it

check the final URL for each ad and open it in an incognito window to see exactly what a new visitor sees. Make sure the destination isn’t redirecting to a login page because of a bad URL, that’s what I’d start with.

Is it your product for the landing page? Of course check final URL path. If it's your page have it go to salespage or cart page most likely. No guarantee of conversion, lots depends on the intent of the traffic. Check desktop/mobile optimizations as another user kind of hinted. Do all the troubleshooting AI recommends if all else fails. Change magnification to 50% and see if something is cut off. Check everything..

Well, just take a look in the page you are directing your clients to. But i gotta say, i don't understand how didn't you saw that before, is the final site yours? Or is it affiliate offer? Because if it's affiliate, talk with the affiliate program owner, there must be another url for you with then.

If you're using a tracking template, test the final URL to see where it sends visitors.

open the ad link in incognito mode and see if it asks for login. if yes then fix the landing page url or access settings

i'd check the final url first, then open it in incognito to see what a new visitor gets. if the page needs an account, use a public landing page instead and make sure mobile users can access it too.

Some page builders have separate preview and published versions, so confirm the ad URL points to the live page.

If the page recently changed, review the redirects and access settings before changing the ad itself.

this can happen if the page url is wrong or the site redirects logged out users to login. test the link without being logged in, fix the redirect if needed and make sure the same url is used in your ad and tracking template.

If you are using a tracker, review its redirect settings. One wrong rule can send visitors to a login page instead of the landing page.

See if the problem happens only on certain devices. A separate mobile URL could be sending people to the wrong place.
