Costs paid to Facebook

Has anyone else noticed that Facebook product advertising costs have been quite high in recent years, yet the results aren't as good as they used to be? Given those costs, should I consider investing in a different platform?
Diversifying is a good idea. Test another platform with a small budget first, then compare the actual cost per conversion with Facebook Ads.

True, the increase in costs is clear. However, I won’t be abandoning Facebook just yet. I plan to compare customer acquisition costs and ad returns across Meta, TikTok, and Google using the same products and offers. I’ll adjust my budget gradually, rather than shifting everything all at once.

I think you should try advertising on tiktok, even a single AI-generated video, combined with a modest ad budget, could yield results much faster than fb.

The rising cost of Facebook advertising may be due to users migrating to other platforms, which necessitates higher budget allocations toward specific customer segments in order to effectively evaluate performance.

That's right, Fb is still an effective channel if you know how to selectively reach customers and optimize costs, while I am shifting toward short-form videos on TikTok Ads, which are delivering impressive conversion results.

you should try fresh creatives first. If costs are still high, test another platform with a small budget and see how it performs.

I need to be the exact oposite of everyone here. To me, it became way easier. Since a while facebook now uses your creatives to direct the best and most correct costumer to your ads. Since i always had a very good agency creating my ads, my overall cpc dropped a lot, and the ctr improved at the same time!

Of course, it took a lot of trial and errors, but thing's been going well for me! Pay attention to your creatives, they are almost all that really matters for meta right now.

Meta is still worth testing, but I wouldn’t rely on it alone anymore , can try on tiktok ads , though i don't know about your niche

I haven’t tested whether my product is a good fit for tiktok, but considering the costs and potential results, I think it’s worth giving it a try.

Partnering with an agency might still be a bit of a stretch for the niche I’m in, but I really appreciate your input.

Now I'll split my budget in half and allocate it to tiktok to compare results. If fb still doesn't yield better results, I'll stop spending money on Meta

Sometimes, you end up spending your entire budget on Meta without getting any results at all. I’d suggest switching to a different platform.

Yes, running ads on Facebook has become more expensive than ever, I'm getting better results on TikTok with a lower budget.

Yeah, Facebook ads seem more expensive these days. I’d test TikTok or Google Ads with a small budget first and compare the results before switching completely.
Agreed. I’ve already made a plan with my team to give tiktok a try we can’t keep wasting money on fb

That’s right, the market is constantly changing, and things are becoming more difficult.
However, you can still absolutely run ads on Facebook, it remains a platform with significant potential to tap into.

Before switching platforms, I’d test your creatives, audience, and landing page first. Compare cost per conversion rather than clicks alone, then run a small test on Google or TikTok to see which brings better results for your niche.

To reach today’s conclusion, I analyzed revenue data over a long period, traffic has been steadily declining, while costs have continued to rise.

I've been checking for too long. I can't afford the cost and I'm not getting any results.

That’s exactly right! The key is to keep testing and optimizing while diversifying across platforms like TikTok and Google to get better results.

Definitely noticed it. Facebook ads are not what they used to be. I would test google ads or tiktoks with a small budget first instead of putting all my money into meta.
That’s correct; Facebook advertising costs can rise while effectiveness declines due to high competition, increasing customer acquisition costs, and shifting user behavior.

However, you don’t necessarily have to abandon Facebook. You might consider trying Google Ads if customers are actively searching for your products, or TikTok Ads if your offerings are well-suited for short-form video content.
