Hi everyone! This is my first post on forums in general, so don't judge me too harshly. Maybe someone can throw me an idea or share their experience.
I'm a developer with 5 years of experience. I'm well-versed in web development and decent at backend. I have extensive experience in management and building SaaS products.
I've always been drawn to the "grey" development space (porn sites, casinos, and so on), but I was always held back by the good salary at my current job. I figured I'd learn more from the codebase in "white" projects and that work would be more fun. But alas, no miracle happened — my hands still kept reaching for the grey business, even though I've only read about it.
I don't know whether I should start or not, since I have some doubts. I know that people usually get into these projects through connections, but I don't have any.
So basically, I don't know where I could apply my background.
P.S. I haven't been laid off, and I have no trouble finding work. I have my current job, and I regularly get offers. But it all just feels boring.
