Hey guys,

I am currently somewhat searching for the ideal way to clarify for clients what their monthly results are. I am using SEranking in conjunction with Google Data Studio and Google Analytics, but am still not experiencing quite the results I would like. What KPIs do you use in communicating results and from which tools? And do you guys maybe have suggestions for a good reporting tool where everything can be seen in 1 view?

I use automated emails from google analytics showing traffic for different channels.

Metrics Watch is one of the best tools for making SEO reports FAST. You'll be able to pull data directly from Google Analytics and Google Search console automatically. And since this tool uses a codeless drag and drop visual builder, you don't need any technical skills to create professional reports FAST.

Track 3 things for clients: rankings for money keywords, organic traffic, and actual leads. Everything else is noise for small businesses.

I’d focus on organic traffic, keyword movements, conversions, leads, and backlinks gained rather than just rankings. Looker Studio is pretty flexible if you connect GSC, GA4, and SE Ranking in one dashboard. The key is keeping it simple so clients can see what actually impacts their business.

Keep the report simple and focus on organic clicks, impressions, conversions, and keyword trends.

GSC and GA4 cover most of the important data, while SE Ranking helps with rankings. Clients usually care more about traffic and leads than a long list of SEO metrics.

I would limit the report only to organic traffic clicks impressions keyword trends and conversion metrics so as not to bombard the client with multiple metrics GA4 and Google Search Console fit perfectly into performance and user behavior metrics in my opinion it is important to show what was done better where improvements are needed and what is going to be done next month.
