Been looking into dropshipping again and wondering if people are still actually making money with it

I was checking out sellvia because the US shipping part sounds easier than dealing with overseas suppliers. just not sure if theres still enough money in this model or if everyone moved on to something else

what are you guys doing these days?

i would like to get into it for q4. how did it go for you the first time?

Some of my customers still making bank with dropshipping, but the game shifted. if you treat it like a real ecom biz rather than a quick get-rich scheme, it still work.

I found it tough on eBay because of refunds/returns and the affect on things, whereas in house inventory can be sent cheaply with discounted shipping label wholesalers and sent manually to save on fulfillment through the post office with 30+ packages possible in a hour. Im looking to do a general store that is health niche. Basically because supplements are high ROI and theres 115 SKU I can access PLR before going custom, and thats from one supplier I know from sales directories that is legit. I can build out more and since I go general on a WooCommerce store setup with import plugin AliDropship, AMZ Scout (lifetime) and some other tech, I think I see Hostinger has plugin, Im going to test this. eBay Product research tool shows sold count in case you didnt know. Wholesale requires more upfront cash though it works. You could be sitting on the "other" inventory in the assortments like with Pokemon where it sits on the shelf a year because you have 6-8 of them sitting there selling slows. Theres top sellers in some packs and I personally like the limited editions/Collectors Editions. For my inventory there is a software called WPImportAll that controls inventory by sheet, with a cost saving lifetime available at $1500, though I read they are discontinuing the lifetime to push pricier subscriptions so they can profit more.

Warning: Walmart Marketplace seems to be not profitable for low end products. I was making like $1 on my packages max with $10 products. You have to go higher tier in my belief or have stellar wholesale prices. This is because the shipping costs with retail shipping labels - 1 click labels or whatever, though I have since found sources.

I’m planning to start an iGaming affiliate website and want to learn how to get it ranking on Google.

It still works, but not much as it was before 2020, not that easy anymore, but doable if you don't think it will make you rich by night

It still works, if you got the correct setup to both advertise and receive payments. But to me and some friends, it's better then ever. Some years ago, there was an explosion of people creating dropshipping stores, and when ai agents began to take place, everyone was trying to do that... but as someone said, consistency (and once again, the right setup) beats anything. Also when you research what are the best products for each country, it's even better. Just get used to create lp even in e-commerce sites

*branded* ecom, but would even go as far as testing products, testing some more and take a friend to china when something works get that sorted, and also use the trip to get even more inspiration.

I don't think it's drop shipping is DEATH by any means but ^^ seems the way people are crushing it now.

I think dropshipping can still make money in 2026, but competition is tough. The key is finding good products, reliable suppliers, and a way to get customers at a low cost.

If you don't have dedicated sellers that can sell their products to you at least 20-30% downwards in terms of price, and you don't compete with other people who may have similar type and quality of products then I wouldn't bother. Your competitors will try to outbid you based on price and you'll find yourself into a sinking boat.

I'm still looking into it again, so I can't really say how it goes in 2026 yet. The shipping part is what caught my attention this time. Have you already picked a niche for Q4 or are you still looking around?

yeah I think the setup part gets overlooked a lot. people focus on finding a product but then don't really think about payments, shipping or how they're actually gonna get traffic. what kind of products have been working best for you lately?
