tough question because this depends on so many factors.

- the niche itself
- the app
- monetization of the app (pricing, monetization strategy, etc.)
- your marketing strategy
- if you use paid ads or all organic
etc.

everything is possible. it fully depends on you. I am made $75k+ in september

same I fear this guy selling an ebook for $100 is the top signal it's over, more competition for eyeballs, higher CAC, at the end the house(fb, gads) always wins
