getting views is one thing but turning that attention into actual sales seems like a different challenge what's working for you when it comes to converting followers into buyers?

Followers convert far worse than people who land on a specific problem-focused post, so I stopped chasing reach and started retargeting anyone who watched past 75 percent of a video.

Depends on which social media platforms you’re referring too, short attention span platforms like tiktok or reel traffic generates a large amount of clicks but a fairly low conversion rate.

Reddit is the opposite of that, but much harder to promote on.

quality followers from day 1 matter way more than bulk growth. ive had way better conversions running aged accounts with smaller engaged audiences than new ones with thousands of randoms. proper account warming and niche targeting from the start makes all the difference

People are more selective now. Clear offers, social proof, and a simple checkout can make a big difference. Views don’t always mean buying intent.

You're talking about views, so I think you mean short vids views due to this niche popularity. If I'm right, you can forget about high conversion rates and try to get more and more traffic even if you think you have a lot of it already.

What’s worked for me is putting a soft ask on the content that actually gets reach, then only pitching after they take one small step (comment, click, join the list). Random viral stuff brings people who never buy.
What are you selling?

In addition to social media engagement and follower count, focus on strategies that can convert audience interest into Business opportunities. First, showcase the value of your product and the solutions it provides by highlighting 'social proof' or positive customer experience. Second, avoid complex processes by adding direct purchase links and clear 'calls to action' ( e.g. Buy Now') in your bio or comments. Finally, offer special and limited time offers to followers to encourage quick purchases. Implementing these strategies effectively can significantly increase your business potential by reaching the right audience.

Part of the reason is that nowadays, you don't know if your content will reach the matched audience due to the platform's algorithm mechanism. Getting views only means people are interested in your content, not necessarily in your product.
Therefore, positioning the product, showing compelling use cases, shortening the purchase journey, and reducing decision-making costs have become crucial.

I believe the key to converting followers into buyers is understanding what they actually need. Having thousands of followers means very little if they are not interested in what you offer.

I guess getting views is the easy part and getting someone to actually buy is the real challenge. Maybe people enjoy scrolling and liking posts but suddenly become very careful when it’s time to spend money!
