Hey guys, Something changes in one of my PPC campaigns recently. I was getting a mix of traffic before, but now one type of traffic has almost disappeared. I did not change much in the campaign, so I am not sure what caused it.
Has anyone had this happen before? what should I check first to find the reason.

You should check the placements and search terms first. One traffic source disappearing can happen when the campaign starts getting diffrent types of searches.

If the drop happened suddenly, compare the same dates from the previous week to see if it is a temporary traffic change.

check the traffic breakdown first. sometimes one source or device drops while the overall campaign still looks normal.

Sometimes the traffic mix can change because of device or location. A drop in one GEO or device type can make the whole campaign look quite different.

A change in the search demand can also reduce one kind of traffic even when your campaign settings stay the same.

Had this happen before. Id compare the old and new traffic reports first, then check targeting and bids. That can help narrow down what changed.

Campaign history can be useful here. Even small edits to targeting or bidding may affect where the clicks come from.

Maybe the bidding strategy is sending more budget to other traffic types, which is why this one dropped.

I'd compare the last 7 days with the previous 7 days and check which traffic segment dropped. Also look for any recent changes in targeting or campaign settings.

Comparing the traffic sources before and after the decrease will help me identify the problem by analyzing my target audience, placements, and other settings I may have changed.

Compare the traffic breakdown before and after the drop, then check if impressions also went down for that segment. If yes, look at targeting, bids and ad delivery first. That should give you a better idea instead of making random changes.

Automated bidding can change traffic when conversion data changes, so check if your tracking is working properly.

Did you check the search terms and placement report? Sometimes traffic shifts without any major changes on your side.

I would review any recent modifications to my targeting, audiences, placements, and tracking parameters before I look for any differences in results.

A drop in search demand for certain keywords could explain why that part of your traffic has slowed down.
