Recently, I've been looking closely at how link building impacts the overall SEO performance of a website.

One thing I've noticed is that backlinks aren't just about pushing a specific keyword higher in the SERPs. A solid backlink profile can also help strengthen a site's authority and improve its chances of getting noticed across AI-powered search experiences.

Of course, links alone won't fix poor content or technical SEO issues, but they can make a difference when everything else is in place.

Curious to hear from others here!

Are you guys seeing visibility from LLMs after building some authority links?

As of me, links helps but llm visibility doesn’t always move with rankings. I’d check linked pages are indexed and getting organic traffic, then track brand mentions and ai citations results over time. will see of dr increase doesn’t tell you much.

I've noticed this too, but it's hard to tell if LLM visibility comes directly from backlinks or from overall brand authority and content quality. Has anyone tracked AI citations before and after a link building campaign?

For me, untapped niches plus AI content plus tiered link building are all free, and it costs less than $30 per project, so I'd call that value, not quality. Plus, tiering automatically makes the backlink profile niche related, so we don't need to hunt for niche related guest posts or niche edits or whatever you want to call it. We can build our own authority with free links...

i would like to see the effect of niche specific sites backlinks compared to non specific but high authority sites. ai visibility is probably more difficult to track than regullar ranking, which means that tracking of brand mentions might prove helpful. have u ever experimented with different kinds of backlinks on the same website?

quality backlinks can help build site authority and also improve visibility in ai search. but link metrics alone wont do much without relevant links and useful content that actually answers what people are searching for.
