I have a Facebook fan page with 2k. Can I enable monetization on Facebook?
And how can I make money from it?
I'd like to hear about your experiences.

You can make money with a small page too, but it depends on your niche and how active your followers are.

You can monetize that Facebook page, as it includes monetization features; however, you need to remain active, post consistently, and implement effective strategies to reach a larger audience. Monetization requires a significant investment of time and effort into managing the account.

you can check the steps to see monetization within the page.

I think the simplest way is for you to put your affiliate link in the comments.

I'm still posting diligently. I'd like to ask how Facebook will pay me. I haven't seen fb mention it.

It's a resounding YES, I was monetized at 2.5k followers. What gave me the edge was consistency in posting educative raw contents. I remember I sometimes engage on streaks. 30days, sometimes less. But it paid off. Note this was before monetization was upon request. They found my content worthy and monetized me

With a Facebook page that has 2,000 followers, you can enable monetization. By posting content and hosting events that attract viewers and engagement over a certain period, you can potentially earn money provided you adhere to the requirements and schedules set by Meta.

With 2,000 followers on your page, you do not yet meet the requirements to enable monetization on Facebook.

Typically, you need 10K followers and 600K watch minutes in 60 days to qualify for in-stream ads. Check your professional dashboard for current eligibility.

small page can earn something but it really depends on your niche and how engaged your followers are.2k followers is a start but you need to check which monetization options your page qualifies for.

Two thousand followers is a good start, but it doesn't qualify for official Facebook monetization. It requires ten thousand followers and six hundred thousand minutes of watch time over sixty days.
At this point, you can earn by doing affiliate marketing, selling shoutouts, or sending traffic to your website. Grow followers naturally. Keep checking the monetization section in your Page's professional dashboard to see if you qualify.

I’ve noticed quite a few people successfully leveraging this for affiliate marketing by combining reels with product shopping carts.

With a Facebook Page that has only 2,000 followers, you may not meet the eligibility requirements for monetization yet. You should focus on growing your follower count or consider other ways to make money, such as affiliate marketing.
But Facebook has already enabled monetization for me. I have many videos with over 100k views.

I had already posted quite a few videos that went viral before I enabled monetization. I’m wondering if fb will pay me for those earlier videos?
