Does a golden hour for posting really exist, or is posting frequency more important?

Hello everyone
I see there are two completely opposing viewpoints about when to post.
Has anyone tried testing the same video on two different accounts at two completely different time slots?

I do think there are "golden hours" for posting videos, but content remains the most important factor. After all, videos posted a long time ago can still go viral again simply because the content resonates with people.

I tested this myself and found the algorithm cares way more about early engagement velocity than the specific clock time. Focus on consistency and niche relevance first, as the platform pushes content based on initial performance rather than a static golden hour.

i believe that both of these are important but content nd consistency must be prioritized first. posting during the peak hours will definitelly help in getting started with ur engagement but there are no guarantees when it comes to reach. i would suggest trying out a few time slots for 2-3 weeks nd see which one works better.

If your content is good, the posting time is irrelevant; the only thing that truly matters is if your hooks draw your audience in the first 2-3 seconds, because if they stay and watch, your TikTok videos will gain greater reach.

there’s no universal golden hour
your audience matters more than generic schedules

Your audience's timezone probably matters more than any universal golden hour. Check your analytics for when your followers are actually online, then post a bit before that window.

There are "golden hours" when traffic to the platform surges; posting during these times helps attract a large audience. Additionally, I will leverage opportunities to optimize my posts and diversify my account content.

Golden hours truly exist.. but they're difference for every niche and audience.
i've tested similar content at different times and saw clear differences in reach, especially early on, once the account has some momentum though, consistent daily posting usually beats chasing perfect hour
test it yourself with your own audience, then just stick to a schedule that you can keep

timing is just giving uhh a chance to be viewed early even if the timing worked well, ur hook may continue to attract attention later on so i would test out timing options without changing the writing style every time.

testing the same file on two accounts usually just backfires since platforms can flag it as a duplicate and both accounts have different history anyway

peak hours might give a post a bit of a push at first but its not gonna make or break it. If people actually watch the video the feed can pick it up days later too no matter when you posted it.
I'd just focus on posting consistently instead of trying to find some perfect minute to upload

Posting at the same time makes things easier to manage, posting at different times is just to test if it’s more effective. You can schedule your posts and a reasonable frequency is three posts a day, with "golden hours" coinciding with break times.

Both are important, but in my opinion, posting frequency is far more important than the "golden hour."

Should I prioritize looking at the number of views in the first hour or the total number of views after 24-48 hours to draw a conclusion?

How many posts do you think I should publish, and at what times?

i would observes how quickly the first wave of viewers responds, rather than trying to achieve a magic hour because even a small group of people that stays put will trump a crowd that swipes

What time do you usually post to get the most viewers?

I don't think a "golden hour" actually exists. What really matters is having engaging content.
From my personal observation, golden hour videos are doing very well. Do you post any golden hour videos?

Posting frequency builds baseline reach but that first 30-minute watch time burst determines whether the algorithm actually pushes your video past your immediate follower pool.
