I've spent 8 years in mass emailing (managing own databases and partner databases also - dating mostly).

Warming up is essential these days if you want to reach truly solid deliverability with any means of mass emailing.
(as long as it's not a small, recent, curated email list that expect the emails).

You can create your seed list and do this manually, but only with small volumes. If you want to go for mass - you'll need an automated / third party solution.

The case will differ aka:

1) mail your own / clean data with your offer - basically a newsletter, this is the one where you're likely to get the best organic deliverability, I still highly recommend a warm up as it will give you an extra boost in deliverability
2) mail your own / clean data with a third party offer - this one is more difficult and will require a more extensive warm up (time + funds)
3) mail third party data (with permission) with your or third party offer - this one will be the most difficult

The first step is to clean the database and make sure that a proper mailing setup is in place
The second step is the domain and IP warmup - this may easily take 4 - 8 weeks, depending on how old and what origin the data are
The third step is to use best practices for emailing itself (and continue with the warm up)

One mistake that I commonly see is that one goes through the process of warming up their sending domain, starts with emailing, but terminates the warm up at the same time.
Forgetting that the domain reputation and delivery numbers that he gained was specifically due to warming up.

yes bro, i reach clients through cold emails using grok bot, bot created the google sheet that is the database and CRM. I authorised bot to use my mailboxes, it will warm up as u tell it and later it launches ur compaign... u can ask anything further...1791874256637.png

I'd stay away from scraping and trying to email these - this is generally a no no in emailing

If you want to build your email list than a better way to do this is to create at least something like a lead magnet, where the users can actually sign up, so you have a time-stamp and a clear origin

It may be much harder to use any third party ESP as they may require to know the origin of the database
And they don't want to deal with complains and spam reports - as it negatively influences their sending infrastructure as well, so even if you'd be approved initially you'll likely get your account dropped soon

You could still do this with your own setup / but it may be costly and don't expect solid results with a scraped email list - the origin of the database is the main issue here

Please if you can elaborate more about the seup for this bot please, and you give him the emails list ? and how exaclty the bot can warmup the domain or the email befor the compaign? is this your newsletter emails ?

Thank you so much for the help.

I wouldn't rely on instantly or lemawarm to fix deliverability
Send a few real emails to different providers and see where they land
warmup tools can show good scores while your actual cold emails still hit spam

Warming up is crucial and a must do. For your domain to have reputation and delivery results you must warm it up.

Yeah sending real emails to friends is fine for testing but there is no magic number that warms up a domain. Send 5-10 normal emails to gmail and outlook accounts and check if they land in inbox or spam

After that start with a small number of relevant emails and increase slowly only if bounces and spam complaints stay low
