This past week I launched 30 creatives and quickly cut off the losers and let the ones with conversions spend more. Out of the 30 I launched, 1 is profitable, 1 is break even and 1 drove a conversion but is running at around -50% roi.

Biggest issue is 70% of my leads end up in trash because of bad data / duplicates. The form on the offer page allows you to input only 5 digits for a phone number (meaning someone can just put in "12345" and it would be counted as a lead), so that needs to be fixed. Spoke to the network and they mentioned most of my trash leads are either wrong phone numbers or duplicate leads. I'm going to focus hard on bringing the number of bad numbers down by making my own form.

Next step is focusing on the ads with conversions and spending more budget on them to see if they can scale.
Hey Guys, it's been nearly two months since my last post but I haven't given up on this journey at all!! Here are today's results. Finally have a profitable day; now I'm looking to see how I can scale this up and make it a profitable campaign. Overall I'm in a small loss from testing but if the numbers continue to look like this and ROI holds at higher spend i'll quickly make back my losses.

A lot has changed recently, and I'm dealing with a lot of other stuff, which is why I haven't been regularly updating this thread, but I am still working towards my goal. I will hit it no matter what.

You mentioned earlier that around 70% of your leads were getting rejected. Did you manage to fix the form issue, or are you still getting bad leads? That seems important to sort out before putting more money into the campaign.

I switched offers and things started to improve! I guess I couldn’t just make that offer work but the good thing is you can always pause a campaign and test something new

Here's my performance last week. Honestly, I didn't expect this to happen, I thought maybe it would just be one good day but the numbers ended up holding!

Here's my plan now:

  • Try to find similar offers for the geo i'm working on (the AM said I can't do more than 70 conversions a week, which is really annoying because I feel like I can double what I'm doing currently)
  • Try to join new networks that pay faster
  • Continue learning about CPA / copywriting to improve my skills

Leaving a business that already makes $3–5k/month to build something you actually enjoy is a bold move, just make sure you validate the CPA offers before burning through your ad budget.
