honestly self-hosted beats most gateways. i run btcpay server on a cheap vps, no middleman holding funds, no kyc surprises. only pain was setting up the lightning node, on-chain only is way easier.

I was using both CoinPayments as well as Heleket, which is a fairly new gateway. Both are pretty straightforward to implement using their APIs, % spread depends on which exact tokens/coins you’re looking to implement.

Nowpayments has a fee of 0.5 to 1% depending on your payment type.
