Guest posts and niche edits are the best ones that you can get, as long as they come from a highly authoritative relevant website to yours.
Which type of backlink work right now?

tbh, first find out what has been working for my competitors then try to get backlinks from other websites. It does not make sense going after higher DR, when your web does not even fall into your niche.

Check actual linking page before spending, and start with few relevant guest posts on legit sites with real organic traffic. Mix in natural brand anchors and build links gradually while improving your content and internal linking.

lets start with relevant niche guest posts, genuine industry mentions, and a few trusted local or niche directories where they make sense. Focus on relevance and real traffic rather than building lots of links quickly.

Agreed, but I'd say relevance and the quality of the site matter more than the link type itself. A relevant niche edit on a real site can be worth more than a guest post on a random blog.

Of course, a new website should have more relevance and credibility than a massive number of backlinks. I would concentrate on getting relevant backlinks from legitimate websites having traffic along with quality content.

Guest posts, niche edits, and digital PR links are becoming effective if done on quality sites that generate traffic and have relevance to your topic.
Don't emphasize numbers but think of quality and natural placement of links.

For a new site, go for relevant guest posts n legit niche directories/citations first, bc a few links from real, topically-related sites beat 100 junk profile links every damn time, n skip the spammy blast stuff since it just flags a brand new domain

For a new website, you should start with profile backlinks from social media platforms and Web 2.0 sites. You can also add a few guest post backlinks.

For the purpose of building a new site i would begin with guest posts that are relevant niche related links and links that have been gained through relevant content this is because the emphasis will be more on relevance and quality rather than quantity.
