Hi everyone
What do you think about TikTok advertising and selling equipment originally intended for firefighters and emergency responders for the purpose of breaking into homes and cars?

i would completely separate the product from the break in angle. in case this is a genuine rescue device, demonstrate its use by firefigghters or other emergency crews nd advertise to them. advertising the product for breaking into houses nd cars would have the advertisements rejected almost immediately.

It's a good idea to sell these products and there will be demand as well because it's necessary in every city. You should start creating tiktok ads and hope the results are good.

I’d test short UGC/demo videos first. TikTok can push this kind of product well, but make sure the landing page and ad copy clearly position it as emergency/rescue equipment.

id avoid that niche, TikTok may restrict it and the products can raise legal issues too tbh.

Normally, no one would buy them, but when they are mass-marketed for misleading purposes, they become powerful tools for criminals

Nah don’t do that, TikTok will shut it down the second they see what the tools are actually for, and advertising stuff meant for breaking into homes and cars is straight up illegal.

Not worth the risk or the ban.

TikTok ads manager will flag that instantly. Their ad policy strictly bans entry tools, bypass gear, and lockpicks regardless of how you frame the copy.

I think it is better to check TikTok rules first and make sure the product and its use are allowed before spending on ads.

Are you sure you can legally sale those? What if a thief breaks in a car or house with YOUR equipment?

I think the idea is great and innovative. If you start implementing it now, you could be a trendsetter in this area.

I find it very practical and necessary. A very good and useful idea.

there may demand for emergency equipment but advertising tools meant for breaking into homes or cars create serious legal and safety issues. focus the tiktok ads on legitimate emergency responder or rescue use cases instead.

You can approach this by creating humorous videos to attract viewers, or by producing content that highlights the product's practical applications and broad appeal, thereby avoiding violations of platform policies.

If you can frame it so that customer knows what they can do with that set and it doesnt get flagged at the same time then this would print

You need an organic safety content plus a TikTok Shop listing, and then run Spark Ads on those

that sounds risky from both a legal and advertising policy standpoint. be careful about promoting equipment specifically for breaking into homes or cars and would focus on legitimate emergency response or rescue uses instead.
