with so many ways to sell online now i wonder if marketplace still brings serious buyers or mostly people asking for lower prices what's your experience?

It remains quite effective for online sellers; you need to create detailed product information and post regularly to attract viewers especially since they pay close attention to price competitiveness. Generally, Facebook Marketplace is more effective at attracting viewers when your products are competitively priced; otherwise, your sales performance will be impacted.

To boost sales, I think advertising is the most essential thing. Facebook's Marketplace is only suitable for small retailers; its name itself suggests it's a marketplace. Depending on your business model, you can choose to sell your products in a marketplace or in a shopping mall.

There are still serious buyers, but many like to negotiate. Fair pricing and clear firm price rules can save time.

marketplace still bring real buyers but price makes a big difference there people usually compare a few seller before deciding clear photos and useful product details help too and posting consistently gives your listings more chances to get noticed

It’s no longer effective; personally, i never visit the Marketplace i mostly buy through affiliate links in short-form videos. Doing affiliate marketing is the best approach right now.

Yeah, Facebook Marketplace can still bring serious buyers, especially for local products. You’ll get some low offers, but good photos, clear pricing, and quick replies can help attract better customers.

facebook marketplace can still bring serious buyers especially for products people want locally and can compare or collect easily you’ll get some lowball offers too but clear photos fair pricing and quick replies can make a big difference in the quality of inquiries

In my opinion, e-commerce platforms still attract serious buyers, but purchasing behavior has changed significantly. Today's buyers have more options, can easily compare prices across stores, and often consult reviews before making a decision.

In my opinion, there still are. Looking for a good price does not mean being willing to trade off benefits when making a purchase, they tend to seek out deals while still valuing product origin, warranty policies, and post-purchase benefits.

Definitely does, FB MP brings in decent amount of engagment. Effectiveness does somewhat depend on whcuh niche you’re in.

Facebook Marketplace can still be a good starting point for small businesses because it helps connect sellers with local buyers. I think product selection, pricing, and customer service play a big role in getting consistent results

In my opinion, the market remains highly effective; if you have a competitive product and pricing, you can reach a large number of local buyers and sellers, representing a fairly stable and productive customer base.

It’s solid for free, zero-ad-spend local leads, but 90% of the traffic is just lowballers asking 'is this available?' and ghosting. It only works efficiently if you automate fast, standardized responses and quickly funnel qualified buyers off messenger to an actual landing page or whatsapp before wasting time.
