i'm wondering if promoted listings are becoming harder to avoid for sellers.

good titles, item specifics and clear photos still matter alot for eBay SEO, but promoted listings can help in crowded niches where organic visibility is tough.

Indeed, the optimization of the listing should be carried out first, before any additional investments into the ads. In my opinion, one may try promoting some products and measuring the additional sales against the investment into the ads.

Yep, it’s getting hard to skip promoted listings because eBay keeps pushing the ad rate up. To rank without paying, use clear keywords in your titles, fill in every item detail, and keep your seller rating high.

Good titles, relevant item specifics, and clear photos still matter a lot. Promoted listings can help with visibility, but I’d optimize listings first and test ads on a few products before spending more.

Yeah, I think you should correct the listings before spending money on advertising. Try to promote some products with small ads and see what convrrsions come from them, not just clicks.

I think that it is better to spend this time working on product titles, specification nd pictures rather than spending money on promoting the listing. I think it is better to start with promoting some product nd see the results.

promoted listings now appear on nearly every search results page and eBay enforces a minimum 5% fee on any sale that uses them.
i set a $0.15 CPC bid in the seller hub and still saw about 30 clicks per day, so they're hard to avoid unless you disable them in settings
