the first step that I would take would be to do a domain histor nd backlink analysis. In the casino, when you rank quickly, it tells me that there is something else going on beyond just content.

You need the Wayback Machine, anchor text nd referring domains. check out what sites are linking to it, and go from there.

In casino SEO, ranking quickly usually isn't just about one trick. I compare the competitor's domain age/history, topical authority, internal linking, content depth, referring domains and how closely the page matches the search intent.

Those competitors leading the industry spent thousands of usd on expired domains on weekly basis. I’ve seen several auction expired domain which i placed bids on, end up been taking from $1,500 to $5,000 and in the days ahead when I check those domains; they end up been redirected to casino sites. I bet you those expired domains are not bet niche

For casino keywords like trial bonus which are highly competitive, we need to check out your competitors' backlinks profile using tools like Ahrefs and see how your competitors are actually ranking new domains or publishing their ranked site on aged and authoritative domains.

Backlink velocity, domain history, SERP strategy, and mainly whether they are using expired domains or existing authority domains for backlinks and what kind of PBN links they are using also plays a key role.

I would compare the competing pages first and see their content backlinks and how long it takes to rank it would be interesting to see if new sites can get the same results

In the casino vertical, on the other hand, I would look into their backlinks, domain age, quality of their content, and how relevant their pages are to the search query.

Having high relevancy and authority will make a huge difference, but not just because of their backlinks alone.

Very aggressive casino affiliates are burning through tons of aged domains each month + they use a mix of different strategies to get their sites ranking very quickly. It's all good and all, but those sites don't stay up for very long.. so it's a constant battle. Also, it's crazy expensive, but the payoff is usually bigger.

On a bit more less competitive markets it's also a good idea to build a brand and build strong backlinks.

But at the end of the day, you need budget for such competitive niche and be prepared for a fierce competition.

Many blindly jump in to conclusion and think that SEO is dead to we need to create high quality backlinks blah blah because many stop doing consistent after a while it applies for everything yes you will have to build backlinks consistently or it will drain eventually ... i always monitor lost and new backlinks ratio for first three months of site before i totally forget and making it in autopilot
