Be honest… how many of you are pretending to be productive right now?

Guys, serious question.

How many of you open your laptop with a big plan to change your life, make money, and get 10 things done…

Then somehow spend 2 hours watching random YouTube videos, checking your phone, and researching whether a guy who bought a Lamborghini at 19 is actually legit?

And the funniest part?

At the end of the day, you tell yourself:

"Tomorrow, I'll start fresh. Tomorrow is the day."

Bro, I've been saying "tomorrow" for so long that tomorrow probably blocked my number.

Please tell me I'm not the only one.

What's the most unproductive thing you've done while convincing yourself you were working?

Opened 20 tabs to boost productivity, forgot why I opened the laptop, and calls it research. :D

Sometimes I spend more time organizing my to-do list than actually doing the tasks on it. By the time everything looks perfectly planned, half the day is gone. At least the planning part feels productive

Diversion always kills my plans for today and tomorrow. Seriously, most of us get stuck in this trap and won't be able to get away from it.

This all starts when we try to relax for a few minutes from our regular heavy workloads. But finally, most of us forget or leave our work incomplete and carry it forward to the next day.

Used to do this almost always. Allocating 30 minutes of work time just to give myself an excuse to waste 2 hours of time after! Thank god I’m on Adderall now. :)

It's a shame I'm also in this category but I'm focused now.

I watched 20 min video on how to stop procrastinating. I'll put those into practice tomorrow. :D

Honestly, there's no point pretending to work when you don't feel like it. If you feel like watching videos, just watch them. And when you sit down to work, even if it's only for 30 minutes or an hour, make the most of that time. Better to do a little work properly than sit for hours and get nothing done.

I opened this thread to take 2 minutes break and now I need to get back to work. :D
was kidding

well, I have a big goal of graduating in CS in Germany and every minute counts!

Keep doing it mate! My wishes for your future

I've been in Bangkok for a few days now, and I have to say I don't have the energy to work anymore. My stomach is having a hard time adjusting to the food here, so I’m not productive anymore. Or maybe it’s just the exhaustion from working until 10 p.m. every day for my business, I’m not sure.

I believe this is something many of us can relate to.

I also spend time watching youtube and researching valuable materials, including exploring this forum to gain knowledge and new perspectives. By the grace of God, I have achieved more in life than I never expected. I believe in working smart, staying consistent and continuously learning. In my experience, the key is to turn knowledge into action and remain committed to long term growth.

In the end, I would say that tomorrow never comes unless we take action today. If you want to achieve something big in life, you must start now rather than keep postponing things.
