My daily budget is available but the campaign is not spending properly. The keywords have search volume and ads are approved.
What are the first things you check when a campaign is active but not getting enough traffic?

the first thing that comes to mind will be low bid or low search volume

If you’re losing impressions because of Ad Rank, increasing the daily budget won’t necessarily fix the problem. That usually points toward bids, ad relevance, landing-page experience, or competition. If you’re losing impressions mainly because of budget, then increasing the budget or adjusting bids may actually help.

The first is to be patient and give it a few days. Ad spend has a lot of factors which we don't have power over some. Giving it a few days, allows it to settle, gather momentum and perform. I have had several of such incidents. I used to panic initially and start changing things. Now I know better. Leave it alone for a while.

check the bidding and targeting before touching the keywords. First look at Search Lost IS (rank) and whether match types are too restrictive.

first thing i'd check is search lost is (rank) if that's high, the budget isn't the problem.

I would check the bids and Ad rank first and then look at targeting and negative keywords to see what is limiting the traffic.

Compare the keywords getting impressions with the ones getting none. There may be a difference in competition or targeting.

check the actual keyword status and search terms. having search volume doesnt always mean your keywords are getting enough eligible searches.

either the target price per conversion is set, or per click, maybe the price per impressions, there is definitely a limit somewhere.

Check your negative keywords too. You might be blocking some good searches without knowing it. Also see if your location or ad schedule is too limited.

If the campaign uses automated bidding, the bid strategy and its targets can affect how much it spends.

Could be the targeting is too narrow. A small location or audience setting can limit traffic more than you expect.

Check the campaign status, bidding strategy and any restrictions in the account. Approved ads dont always mean they will get enough impressions.

Check the location settings again. If the target area is too small, traffic can be limited even with a good budget.

Had this happen before, so id check bids, match types and targeting before touching the budget. Also make sure the keywords arent too specific, coz having search volume doesnt guarantee your ads will enter enough auctions.

will start from the keyword match types bids geographic targeting and bid strategy i will also check impression share and campaign diagnostics to understand what prevents traffic generation.

First, check the keyword traffic volume, then review the bids and assess the level of competition; optimize the ad to maximize its priority ranking before proceeding to add more keywords.
