Hi guys,

Anyone having problems with new Snapchat ad accounts since early September?

I've been running Snap ads for a while and everything was working fine before. Normally I create the ad account, add payment, verify the email and launch the campaign. Once approved, it starts delivering normally.

Since the beginning of September, new accounts are different. Ads get approved and the ad account is Active, payment is linked, but they stay Not Delivering with $0 spend and 0 impressions.

I tested several accounts and also different normal ads, same result.

The weird thing is I tested an older account I created before this started, and it still goes Delivering normally with basically the same setup.

Anyone else seeing this recently? Especially with newly created accounts?

yes, I seen similar issue with new accounts. check the acount and payment settings, and if everything looks fine, contact snap support as it may be a new account delivery issue.

Make sure to check the payment setup and account status because it may be related to new account review limits.

Could be related to new account review or trust signal just check targeting, budget, billing status and account quality first because sometimes new accounts take longer before delivery starts.

Check the campaign, ad set, and account status separately. Sometimes the account is active but something at the campaign level is blocking delivery.

Yes, I have noticed something similar with newer accounts because older accounts seem to deliver normally while new ones can stay at zero spend also It looks like Snapchat may be applying extra checks to new accounts lately.

Something does seem different with fresh accounts lately, If everything is approved but there is still zero spend and zero impressions then it may be an account level delivery check.

The difference between the old and new accounts is interesting and If the ads are approved but still get zero impressions then I would check the account status and delivery diagnostics first.

Try one very simple campaign with broad settings, just to see if the account can actually start delivery.

I suggest to start with a simple ad and a wider audience first, then make the targeting more specific once the campaign starts getting some delivery.

In any event, I would definitely do some test as regard whether the new accounts are working or not, rather than run a campaign. In this regard I have noticed that that strategy is applied by platform as all campaigns look approved but there is no delivery for some period of time.

Yes, a possible reason could be that newer accounts go through additional checks before delivery starts and the fact that older accounts are working normally is an interesting detail.

Try creating one very simple campaign with broad targeting to see if the issue is with the setup or the new account itself.

Yes, seeing the same thing across several new accounts points to a possible account-level issue, I would check with Snap support before making more accounts.

could be some extra review on newly created accounts. since the older account still delivers, i'd contact snap support before changing the setup too much.

If this started around the same time across several accounts, it might be worth asking Snap support whether anything changed on their side.

I think the difference between older and newer accounts is worth investigating, also check the campaign delivery details and any account restrictions first.
