I'm running google shopping campaigns instead of Pmax, I was wondering if that would be better for opening the search Network to obtain more traffic or should I just close it to get higher ROI?

Any advise would be much appreciated!

I will keep the search network off usually on shopping campaigns. But even if you are running you must switch off partner site traffic, it is low intent and tanks your ROAS.

Whats your ROAS looking right now?
Around 400%, I only consider to show my ads to my audience in the partner network, it looks like can not achieve, though the bid is low, but as you said that the conversion is very low too.

Yes the extra traffic can be useful but it depends on the quality, I would leave it open for a controlled test and compare CPA and conversion value against Google Search before making the any decision.

It Could be worth testing both, because more Search Partners traffic is not always better so compare conversion rate and ROAS before deciding.

If there are good keywords, then of course it’s worth it.

It might be a good idea to enable it, because your products will be displayed across Search Network partner sites.

If it mainly adds clicks without sales I’d close it. Best approach is to test both for a period and compare conversion value.

Give the campaign enough time to collect useful data before making the decision. Personally, I would start with the Search Network enabled, monitor the results closely, and only disable it if the numbers show that it is hurting your overall profitability.

Personally think, It depends on your goal because if you want more traffic keep it open and watch the conversion rate and for higher ROI focus more on the traffic that already converts well.

Yes, It depends on your margins and campaign data, just start with a controlled test and compare CPA and ROAS before deciding which setting works better.

I think, if your main goal is higher ROI then focus on profitable conversions rather than traffic volume and keep search partners only if the results justify the spend.

I think It depends on your product and campaign performance, you should check where your conversions are coming from before making a decision because I would focus on conversion value and ROAS rather than traffic alone.
