My honest review of the Trustpilot AFS Setup Playbook:

it's a manual, not a method. And that's fine.

One idea holds the whole thing up AFS is plumbing. Customer buys, you send a transactional email, Trustpilot reads the BCC or trigger email, invitation goes out. No secret sauce, no "500 reviews in a week" nonsense.

What i like : the BCC vs. dedicated trigger email breakdown, the JSON snippet for the no-BCC route, and the troubleshooting table on page 16. "Most issues come from the trigger address, the email not being sent, or missing customer data.

If you're setting up AFS for the first time and can edit your transactional emails, this saves you an hour. If you've done it before, you already know this. If you can't touch your email templates, no guide helps you.

It's not a method. It's a manual. Go in knowing that and it's worth the read.

The Reviewer.

I received a review copy of the Trustpilot AFS Setup Playbook, and I appreciate the opportunity to check it out.

What I like about this guide is that it's focused on a specific task rather than filling pages with unnecessary information. It covers the AFS setup process, including invitation settings, email configuration, BCC and no-BCC methods, verification, and troubleshooting.

The screenshot-based approach is especially useful for beginners who prefer following visual instructions instead of figuring everything out on their own.

At $5, I think it's worth considering if you're new to Trustpilot AFS and want a structured reference instead of searching through multiple tutorials.

One thing to keep in mind is that this is a setup guide, not a shortcut to getting positive reviews or improving your Trustpilot rating overnight.

Overall: A practical resource for beginners who want to understand the AFS setup process. Thanks to the seller for providing the review copy!

I recently went through the Trustpilot AFS Setup Playbook and found it genuinely helpful and well put together. The guide explains the entire setup process in a clear and practical way, making it easy to understand even if you haven't worked with Trustpilot's Automatic Feedback Service before.

What I liked most was how everything is explained step by step, with screenshots and clear instructions. It covers the important parts, including choosing review templates, configuring email triggers, setting invitation timing, connecting AFS with your email system, and verifying that everything is working correctly.

The troubleshooting section is another useful addition, as it helps readers understand what might go wrong during setup and how to resolve common issues. I also appreciate that the guide includes best practices for collecting genuine customer reviews rather than simply focusing on increasing review numbers.

From an SEO and digital marketing perspective, I can see this being particularly useful for agencies, freelancers, and business owners who want to streamline their review collection process and strengthen their online reputation.

One suggestion for future updates would be to include a few real-world integration examples using popular platforms like WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, or automation tools such as n8n and Zapier. A small section explaining how businesses can use genuine customer feedback to support their SEO and AI search visibility would also add value.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this playbook to anyone looking for a straightforward and practical introduction to Trustpilot AFS. It saves time, explains the technical steps without making them overly complicated, and gives readers a clear understanding of how to get started.

A well-organized and useful resource, especially for small businesses, marketing professionals, and agencies managing online reputation for their clients. Great work putting this together!
