What SEO change gave you the most unexpected results?

Improving internal links across key pages unexpectedly boosted rankings and organic traffic significantly.

I erased their dogma approach thinking like an SEO. I threw out the rules. I also improved the basics of on-page SEO so ranking visibility becomes faster
But yeah, there are times when you have to diverge from strict SEO checklists. But I would still stick to the basics like intent, internal linking and good on-page signals.

I’m curious about the small SEO changes that made a noticeable difference for people. It could be something simple like internal linking, content updates, technical fixes, or improving search intent. What worked better than you expected?
internal linking has probably been the biggest surprise. Sometimes just fixing the links between related pages and pointing them toward the pages that already have ranking potential can make a noteble difference without adding new content or link
