Hi All,

I am from India and Capcut is banned here. I want to use the desktop version. I know I can download it with the help of a VPN etc. But I am afraid of the privacy concerns. Will Capcut send data from my PC anonymously?

What's the best way to use it without any privacy concerns?

Maybe you create a virutal environment with always on VPN?

Or just turn a VPN on, when using it.

Should be no big issue either.

It's basic editing tool without Pro, Just cut the clip and join them and I didn't like it, When you have such an transition effects or other kind of features but still it's behind the paywall !

Using a VPN can help you access Capcut despite the regional ban, but your concerns about privacy are valid. while using Capcut via a VPN is possible, you should weigh the benefits against the potential privacy and security risks.

If you are so worried about privacy, you should uninstall tons of american and european apps and software as well :D

You can always use double protection.
try https://www.virtualbox.org/ for a free VM solution with an Ubuntu OS of your liking. Not a hustle.
if you are a beginner with Linux systems, you can try Mint: https://linuxmint.com/ (though there are better OSs this one is very GUI and win-desktop-ask OS)
than any VPN of your liking will solve most of your problems.

kinemaster does pretty well all of the features capcut does. but if you need capcut youd have to use the pc version
