Hey everyone !

I've been trying different things online for the last few months and honestly I'm getting nowhere.

I can build websites, apps, SaaS, AI automations, landing pages, etc. I've tried selling web services, Etsy, affiliate stuff and I'm also working on a SaaS.

Problem is I'm making basically $0 right now. No sales for over 2 months.

I've even sent cold emails to business and cold calls to offer them landing pages at low cost. Employed closers on upwork to close them.

I think my problem is that I keep building stuff instead of figuring out how to actually get customers.

I'm thinking about dropping most of it and focusing on one service, maybe AI lead automation for businesses, or doing white label work for agencies.

For those of you actually making consistent money online, what would you focus on if you were in my position?

Not looking for a get rich quick method. Just need some outside opinions because clearly what I'm doing right now isn't working.

All help is appreciated !!

Thanks

That's the issue, you need to focus on ONE thing only. I would suggest an AI related project. Saas stuff can stil work but you have to be innovative

Just keep putting your services out there consistently. Focus on one service, build a solid portfolio website to showcase your work, and spend more time finding clients.

There are many people like you out there, so you need to focus on product quality, especially since you lack an established reputation or existing reviews. Concentrate on creating a truly excellent product and launch it with a one-month free trial.

I agree with a comment that you need to focus on
one thing, there are no bad ideas, just choose and keep working on it

everyone says focus on one thing, but nobody asks what you've actually put in front of buyers. months of building with $0 usually means no one has said no to a real offer yet. how many people have you pitched directly?

I love using ai. I use it in all of my work. I'm trying to find what to focus on.

Yes I keep doing this !
Affiliate marketing, or finding suitable products, buying them, and reselling them for a profit. These are some ways that can help you make money faster.
Affiliate marketing takes time to build right? I'm looking for something that will start generating soon and will grow with time.

Cold emails about 500. Cold call about 50. There were some maybe's , call you back, yes then no. Now I've hired cold callers on upwork. Today is their first day. They have a list of 50 leads each. Will see how it goes. They are trying to close landing pages with customized video for business with no websites and small online presence.
Stop building, sell one boring b2b service daily.
A SaaS?

i would start with figuring out how to get traffic. is that paid ads or organic social media traffic or seo. I would use affiliate marketing to be able to test traffic and see what works with out having to build a product people want. Once you can get some traffic or sales, then you can start thinking of what you want to build based on how you are able to get traffic. you can build the greatest tool/ saas there is but if you have no traffic, you won't get any sales.

stop building new things for a bit and pick one service where you already have enough skill to deliver a clear result. The next goal should be getting conversations, not another project. Pick one offer, one type of business and spend most of your time on outreach and improving the offer. Once that starts bringing in work, then you can build around it.

Pick one тiche and talk to like 20 owners before building anything else

eg over dentists a fixed $300 setup that follows up missed calls and website leads automatically then only build more once a few of them actually pay for it

I like this , very smart. Thanks for the tip !

Yeah I will pick one product and focus on it and stop diversifying myself. Since we have access to AI, its easy to do many things at the same time. Ai is working on one prompt so why not make it work on another project at the same time, and it goes on and on lol

So call lets say dentist, ask them hey would you be interested in having xyz service if I would build it?

Nah don't ask if they'd buy something you haven't built ask how they currently handle missed calls and what happens when nobody follows up. If they admit it's costing them bookings then offer to fix that specific problem for $300

The main problem for any project is to find cheap traffic
Yupp

So 300$ recurring and any installation fee? Also I guess its the same SaaS for every business, i build one and sell the same to multiple business

I'd start with $300 one time for setup and maybe $49 month for hosting and maintenance. Use the same core automation for every dentist but customize their booking link and messages

dont build a full saas yet since you can deliver the first few setups with existing tools and see if people actually pay

I’d recommend choosing one thing and getting really good at it. You don’t need to try to do everything at once. If you keep improving in one area, it will eventually start bringing you money.

Do something that is easier for you to promote it. Because if you can promote it in your good way then you will bring a lot of good traffic.
Many people just create a website about something and they are stuck with marketing to bring traffic.

What I do first is I check what I can promote easily and where, when I have enough info then I create a website about it and bring a lot of traffic and make sales.

just be a specialist, dont do hybrid or trying to be generalist unless you mastering and experienced at something atleast one

300$ seems a bit low no?
