How to know if proxy is to blame

1. see if the provider offers free trial
2. check them on Spamhaus and Scamalytics - the fraud score should always be under 20 - this is a clean IP, and platform won't ban ur accounts
3. see if the ISP is shared or native (usually when u purchase shared - they get flagged very quickly - around 3 4 months of intense use), natives are more expensive ones
4. for social media - i'd recommend residential rotating proxies

good luck

So spamhouse and scamalytics are enough? Ipfighter? I have some weird experiences with IPLocation giving high fraud score to some proxies.

At first, yes...running through spamhouse and scamalytics is enough, the standard.

IPfighter, for example, isn't always accurate on the first check. You should check the site 2-3 times at 5 to 10-minute intervals.

In my experience, IPfighter initially gave my IP a trust score below 80 and tagged it as a datacenter proxy. However, after staying on the site for 5 minutes and reloading, the score jumped to 90 and it was tagged as residential.

For IP location, I rely on proxycheck.io, which also helps me with the IP's score.

Thanks. Generally what I am looking now for is an ISP proxy that is good enough for twitter posting.
Spamhouse - no issues
Scamalytics - low fraud score (0), all NO, except Anonymizing VPN (YES), while I have VPN turned off.

https://proxycheck.io showed me:

I had similar experience with IPfighther showing proxy as data center and sometimes not. IP2location gave me 99 fraud score for some reason... I am still learning how to interpret results of various IP checking websites. Any tips for a newbie?

sounds about right!

these results might differ from one checker to another due to their periodic scans. However, if Spamhaus, Scamalytics, and Proxycheck gives you a low risk score, you should be fine. If you also encounter the Policy Blocklist (PBL) from Spamhaus, do not worry again, this only affects you if you are running your own mail server.

Additionally, I recommend mobile proxies rather than static ISP proxies for Twitter posting. Mobile proxies are the best in terms of low ban rates and high anonymity.

Good luck!

Thank you very much. This is other question i am trying to figure out - if I use 3-5 main accounts (warmed up and aged a bit) do i still need mobile proxies? Or mobiles are needed only when i start scaling lots of accounts?

For social media, the golden rule is this: 1 proxy = 1 account

You're on the right track - the proxy pool is burned. High captcha rates on Google and abuse detection on Proton mean those subnets are already blacklisted by fraud filters. Double-check that AdsPower isn't leaking WebRTC or local time, but replacing the proxy provider will fix 90% of your issues.
Yes, but I would check the proxy’s quality first before chaging my provider. Also check if there are any DNS or WebRTC leaks because subnet change will not solve everything.

The timezone mismatch is worth fixing either way, but with Google already challenging the IP that aggressively

Thanks. But what I meant is that I have for example: one main account for one IP, rotating mobile in that case. I was wondering whether it would be fine to switch for ISP for this one account to help my budget. I red something about "good ISP" which can work for twitter. Dont know if thats true...

if, at the end of the month you break even (the cost of ISP is same as the cost of mobile proxy), it can work. However, to be sure that this would work you need to do 2 things: 1. buy an ISP that is dedicated - only you'll use the bandwidth - this eliminates the increasing risk score and will stay clean.

and 2. you need to commit every month to this - keeping the same IP on long term to be sure the risk score will stay the same, as well as, checking the IP at the beginning of every month.

Overall, this is viable only if you need the high speed cuz it comes with doing extra work, otherwise there's no point on using the ISP on twitter

Thank you for that clarification. That helps a lot. I guess it is similar with rotating residential. I will stick with mobile then.
